Romanov came out with early movement and a foot sweep attempt that briefly shifted Parris off balance, but Mason reset quick. Off a restart, Parris picked his spot and drove through a strong leg attack for two. He added a shot clock point to extend the lead to 3–0 by the end of the first.

Second period, Parris looked sharper. He snapped Romanov into a body lock but wisely bailed, changed levels, and finished clean for another takedown. Romanov started to fade and Parris stayed on him—snapping, moving, and countering a half-shot with ease.

A head-inside single from space made it 7–0. Romanov tried to get something going with a chest wrap threat, but Parris stayed disciplined and drove through for the finish. One final takedown sealed it.
