Henschel made a statement in the open weight division at RAF02, shutting down Mugzy with a clinical 11-1 technical fall in 4:29.
Breakdown: R1: Henschel, 4-1 | R2: Henschel, 3-0 | R3: Henschel, 4-0
Mugzy came out hot—big energy, over/unders right off the whistle, trying to go big early. But Henschel stayed composed, countered the upper body pressure for a takedown, and rolled right into a gut for two more.
Mugzy kept pushing and earned a step out late in the period to get on the board, but the tempo was already starting to shift.
Second period, Henschel flipped the script. Sharp re-attack for a step out to open the frame, then circled, circled, and spun behind for two with :30 to go. Mugzy’s pace dropped noticeably.
Third period opened with Mugzy going head pinch off a shrug attempt, but it was ruled a slip—no points. Then Henschel pulled the trigger: straight double, clean finish, and a big four-pointer to end it by tech.
Clean execution and sharp timing from Henschel. Controlled the match start to finish.
