LIGHT BEER

You want fireworks? Start with this one.
Austin DeSanto and Nico Megaludis are two of Pennsylvania’s most relentless lightweights—and they’re on a collision course inside the Bryce Jordan Center at RAF02.
It’s a matchup between two former NCAA stars from rival programs, fighting in the same weight, in the same state, with wildly different energies. One is all intensity. The other is all ice.
There’s no belt on the line here—just pride, pressure, and a whole lot of front-headlock exchanges.
He may not scream. He may not flex. But don’t let that fool you—Nico Megaludis is as dangerous as they come.
The Penn State legend was a four-time All-American, a three-time NCAA finalist, and a national champion as a senior. He racked up over 100 career wins and dropped just three NCAA tournament matches in four years. After college, he stayed sharp—winning multiple international titles on the freestyle circuit before stepping away from the spotlight.
Now, he’s back. In the building where he made his name. Representing Penn State. In front of a home crowd. Against an opponent who’s anything but subtle.
Expect Megaludis to be surgical, stubborn and quietly savage.
The 4x All-American from Iowa is known for one thing above all: pace. DeSanto doesn’t wait. He doesn’t pause. He hunts. From the whistle to the final buzzer, he brings a brand of pressure that overwhelms most guys before they even get their feet set.
Every match is a sprint. Every tie-up is a scrap. And when he gets you in front head, he’s not just looking to score—he’s trying to take your lungs with it.
Now in the freestyle world, DeSanto has a new format to play with—and a style that could be custom-built for RAF. Three rounds, reset every period, no time to slow down. That’s trouble.
Call it what it is: Penn State precision vs. Iowa pressure.
Megaludis is stingy. DeSanto is stormy. Both guys cling like glue, love the front head, and hate backing up.
This is going to be a go-behind clinic. Expect ear-to-ear ties, collar ties turned brawls, and a test of who blinks first in re-attack scenarios.
And if you’re wondering if it gets chippy? Don’t.
Watch it all go down live on October 25. Stream RAF02 exclusively on FOX Nation.
